Job summary

IGB Technologies Inc. seeks Project Managers to oversee power transformer projects from RFQ through engineering, manufacturing, testing, shipment, delivery, and closeout.

The role coordinates Canadian customers with overseas transformer manufacturers while managing schedules, costs, risks, and commercial issues. The ideal candidate will have an electrical background, project management experience, strong organization, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Electrical background through education and/or relevant industry experience.
• At least 3 years of project management or project coordination experience.
• PMP, CAPM, or another project management certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee power transformer projects from RFQ through engineering, manufacturing, testing, shipment, delivery and closeout.
• Coordinate Canadian customers with overseas transformer manufacturers while managing schedules, costs, risks and commercial issues.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, vendor proposals, schedules, contracts and commercial documentation.
• Communicate with customers, engineers, suppliers, contractors, senior management and overseas manufacturers.
