This onsite role will manage the engineering team, ensure design compliance, and drive cross-functional initiatives across production, quality, and other departments.

The position emphasizes strategic leadership, budgeting, and delivering high-quality products while mentoring staff and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment, in transformer.
• Proficiency in electrical distribution equipment design and applicable industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and development team for distribution transformers.
• Align engineering initiatives with budgets, timelines and business priorities.
• Identify opportunities for new technologies to enhance performance and reduce costs.
• Maintain design compliance with ANSI, ASTM, IEEE, CSA and DOE.
• Build and manage engineering budgets and departmental OKRs and KPIs.
• Mentor a high-performing team and drive cross-department collaboration.
