PTI Transformers is seeking a Technical Contract Administrator (Electrical Equipment) to coordinate interfaces from order entry to delivery and protect the company from risk. You will manage projects, maintain client communications, review POs in SAP, and drive on-time milestones with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

The role requires electrical engineering education and 3+ years in contract management, with SAP proficiency, strong English, and French as a plus.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience in contract management, customer service and proficiency with terms of sale.
  • Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Suite and demonstrated experience with databases.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical electrical concepts.
  • Very strong communication in English. Fluency in French would be an asset.
  • Experience working in the transformer and switchgear manufacturing industries would be an asset.
  • Basic transformer knowledge would be an asset.
  • Project management experience would be an asset.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.

  • Maintain open lines of communication with customers as the exclusive point of customer contact with the company.
  • Review purchase order for accuracy and enter contract details in SAP.
  • Create invoices to be issued to customers.
  • Ensure milestone billings are performed on schedule and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to ensure payments are timely.
  • Liaison with all internal departments to ensure technical/contractual requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare and release internal contract instructions to all involved departments within the organization.

TECHNICAL CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR (ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT)

The Contract Administrator is responsible for coordinating all interfaces within the project from order entry to delivery all in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. You will ensure process integrity, provide commercial and technical experience and insight, and protect the company against risk exposure while providing a high level of customer service.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Act as an account manager to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with customers as the exclusive point of customer contact with the company.
  • Review purchase order for accuracy and enter contract details in SAP.
