Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 15+ years in design engineering of electrical distribution equipment; transformer design beneficial.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and designers to meet project schedules.
• Design, review and validate mechanical specifications and 3D CAD models for distribution transformers.
• Coordinate with electrical, production, quality and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
• Lead root cause analysis and process improvements for mechanical design-related issues.
