Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division is hiring a Power Systems Engineering Lead to join the PSE group. The role supports power systems studies, power quality analysis, substation design, and training for clients across multiple Canadian locations, including Laval, QC.

Responsibilities include technical consultation, project management, designing solutions, mentoring engineers, and delivering customer training. A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a P.Eng.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• P.Eng. license in any Canadian province.
• Minimum 5+ years’ Power Systems engineering experience.
• Experience with Ground Grid Design using CDEGS.
• No relocation assistance offered.
• Must be able to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide applied engineering consultation for power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
• Manage assigned projects and costs within budget; interpret specs and design proposals.
• Provide technical solutions involving equipment design or upgrades to improve safety, reliability, or efficiency.
• Perform engineering design duties applying engineering principles.
• Troubleshoot power distribution equipment and related systems.
• Mentor or lead other engineers on projects and review work.
• Design and conduct specialized training for customers.
