Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• P.Eng. License in any Canadian Province.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as Power System Engineer.
• Experience in Ground Grid Design using CDEGS or similar software.
• Must be able to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide applied engineering consultation for power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
• Manage assigned projects and costs within budget; interpret specs and prepare technical proposals and pricing.
• Develop customer solutions involving equipment design, testing, and safety/reliability improvements.
• Execute engineering design tasks applying core engineering principles.
• Troubleshoot power distribution equipment and analyze performance issues.
• Mentor or lead other engineers on projects and review their work.
