Job summary

Eaton's Power Systems Engineering group in Canada is seeking a Power Systems Engineering Lead to join our team in Winnipeg, MB or other locations. You will provide applied engineering consultation across power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance and training, leading large-scale projects and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, a Canadian P.Eng. license, and 5+ years in power systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • P.Eng. License in any Canadian Province is required.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in power systems engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide applied engineering consultation for power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance and training.
  • Manage projects and costs within budgeted estimates; prepare technical proposals and pricing.
  • Mentor or lead other engineers on projects, including review and stamping of work.
  • Perform engineering design duties and troubleshoot power distribution equipment.
  • Deliver specialized training for customers.
