Job summary

Eaton Corporation’s Electrical Engineering Services and Systems Division seeks a Power Systems Engineering Lead to join the PSE group. The expected annual salary range for this role is $93000 - $117000 a year.

We’re looking for a passionate and solutions-driven engineering professional to join our team as a Power Systems Engineering Lead, where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-impact technical expertise to clients. In this dynamic position, you’ll provide applied engineering consultation across power systems studies, power quality analysis, substation design, and training—helping us optimize performance, ensure reliability, and drive innovation in our energy infrastructure.

What will you do?

• Technical Consultation: Provide applied engineering and technical consultation for customers in the areas of power systems studies, design, installation, startup, maintenance, repair and training.
• Project Management: Manage assigned projects and job costs to perform work within budgeted cost estimates. Interpret specs and customer inquiries and design technical proposals and pricing for customers.
• Customer solutions: Provide technical solutions to customers that may involve equipment design or upgrades, testing of equipment, solutions relating to increase safety, reliability, or efficiency.
• Engineering design: Perform engineering design duties, which require application of engineering principles.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting, and problem solving relative to power distribution equipment.
• Mentorship: Mentor or lead other engineers on projects including reviewing and stamping their work.
• Training Delivery: Design and conduct specialized training for customers.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• P.Eng. License in any Canadian Province.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience working as Power System Engineer.
• Experience in Ground Grid Design using CDEGS or similar software.

Qualifications

Qualifications requises (de base)

• Baccalauréat en génie électrique. Permis d’ingénieur dans n’importe quelle province canadienne.
• Minimum de 5+ ans d’expérience en tant qu’ingénieur en systèmes électriques.
• Expérience en conception de réseau au sol avec le CDEGS ou un logiciel similaire.
