Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking an Electric Power Sales Representative to promote and sell diesel and gas generator sets, power generation equipment and related accessories across BC and Yukon. You will identify customer needs, develop solutions, and manage an assigned territory while working with inside sales on quotations and forecasts.

You will build strong relationships with electrical contractors, engineers and end users, drive profitable equipment, parts and service sales, and travel about 20%

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience (Inside or Outside Sales) in electrical, industrial, or power generation.
• Strong knowledge of engines and power generation equipment is a plus.
• Ability to engage in consultative, solution-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell diesel and gas generator sets, power generation equipment, and accessories
• Identify customer needs and propose customized solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, engineers and end users
• Manage and grow an assigned territory across BC and Yukon
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to prepare quotations, estimates, pricing proposals and forecasts
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM
• Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed accurately
• Drive profitable equipment, parts and service sales opportunities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
• Represent the company professionally and ethically
