The City of Red Deer Police Watch Operator provides administrative and operational support on a 24/7 basis to members of the RCMP and Municipal Enforcement. This position maintains PROS, CPIC, CIIDS, and other databases while multitasking in a fast-paced environment to aid officer and public safety.
The role requires Grade 12, 3 years’ direct police or legal experience, and RCMP security clearance. Typing 55 wpm and 24/7 shift work are essential; training is provided and eligibility is required

The Police Watch Operator provides administrative and operational support on a 24/7 basis to members of the RCMP and Municipal Enforcement. This position utilizes and is responsible for maintaining all relevant police databases, computer related software, and communication devices while multitasking in fast-paced and high stress environment. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential components of the role as it provides critical support for officer and public safety.

Regular Part-Time
$38.55 to $40.58 per hour.
37.5 hours biweekly as scheduled. Shift work including up to 11.5 hour shifts for days, evenings/nights and weekends/holidays.
Must successfully pass a stringent RCMP Security Clearance before commencing employment. If you currently have the required clearance, please indicate it clearly in your resume.
