  • Proficient with MS Office and internet browsers.
  • Experience with table games preferred (Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, Roulette, Poker).
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Flexibility to cover open shifts (morning, evening, night).
  • Visually monitor casino areas to detect illegal activity and policy violations.
  • Observe tables, slots, cash cages, and other high‑risk areas on video to detect issues.
  • Maintain safety for guests and staff.
  • Assist AML and law enforcement with investigations as needed.
  • Record all activity in daily logs and incident ledgers.
  • Act as first contact in emergencies and alert supervisors as required.
  • Protect confidential information and company assets.

Ace Casino iscurrently seeking Surveillance Operators to join our dynamic team. This position is subject to shift work andwill require the operator to be open to work mornings, evenings, or nights.

ReportsTo:

Surveillance Supervisor, Assistant Surveillance Manager, SurveillanceManager.

PositionOverview:

The Surveillance Operator plays amajor role in visually monitoring all gaming standards within the casino usingradios and CCTV equipment. Ensuring all fraudulent or illegal activity isinvestigated and reported. Position is completely technology based and requiresworking closely with other departments.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:
  • Flexible with availability to cover open shifts as needed. Positionis subject to shift work varying morning, evenings, and nights dependingon business needs.
  • Visually monitor all areas within the casino andensure that all illegal activity and activities in violation of casinopolicies and procedures are investigated and reported.
  • Observe table games, slot machines, cash cages, foodand beverage areas, entrances, and other high-risk areas on video monitorsto detect liability concerns or illegal activity.
  • Maintain overall safety for guests and employees.
  • Assist AGLC with siteinvestigations as well as assisting local Police with externalinvestigations.
  • Act as a first point of contact during emergencysituations and immediately alert security supervisor of potentiallydangerous situations.
  • Observe and record all activity on the gaming floortables, slot activities, morning slot pulls and counts, table pulls, finalcounts, all suspicious activity, and all incidents inside and outsidethe casino’s property in a daily log.
  • Track all facility incidents in a yearly incidentledger.
  • Designated Anti-MoneyLaundering (AML) Administrator for the AGLC AML unit, which requires:

o Entering Patron Transaction Reports (PTR) into AGLC provided database.

o Investigating and reporting Unusual Transaction Reports (UTR) to thefacility AML Liaison and AGLC

  • Report all suspiciousactivity to supervisor or manager.
  • Protect all confidential and sensitiveinformation.
Qualifications:
  • Requires following certifications which must be kept up to date:
    • Anti-MoneyLaundering (AML)
    • DealUs In Phase #1
  • RequiresAGLC Registered Gaming Worker Licensing to be obtained prior to the firstshift. This requires a recent criminal record check no older than 3months.
  • Mustbe at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Atleast one (1) year of previous casino surveillance experience isconsidered an asset. Loss prevention, surveillance or casino security isbeneficial.
  • Aminimum of high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Criminology, Policing Studies, or relatedfield is beneficial.
  • Proficientwith Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and internet browsers.
  • Basicaccounting abilities for calculating monetary items.
  • Experiencewith Table Games preferred (Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps, Roulette, Poker,etc.)
  • Must demonstrategood oral and written communication skills using the English language.
  • Highlevel of personal accountability, responsibility, collaboration, customerservice and work well alone and in a team environment.
  • Personalintegrity and a desire to follow company and AGLC procedures to protect thepublic and company assets.
  • Well-developedinterpersonal, problem solving, conflict resolution and communicationskills.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 12 hours.(Operators have the ability to stand and move around the office as timeallows).
  • Must be able to watch viewing screens for up to 12hours.
  • Irregular lifting of up to 20 Lbs.
