Job summary

StackAdapt Inc. is seeking an Engineering Operations specialist to join the Services platform in Calgary. You will own and improve infrastructure platforms, focusing on observability, hosting on AWS ECS, and automation that scales with engineering needs.

You will build scripts and tools, automate workflows, and ensure consistent configurations across development, staging, and production environments. You will help engineering teams deploy changes, monitor systems, and respond effectively to

Qualifications

Experience with DevOps across production environments.
Ability to design and ship reliable tooling and runbooks.
Strong collaboration and incident-management mindset.

Responsibilities

Operate and improve observability and hosting platforms in production.
Build and maintain scripts, tools, and automation to reduce manual work.
Maintain platforms across development, staging and production environments.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
Collaborate with engineering teams on deployment, config, monitoring and alerting.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues from report to root cause, and escalate when needed.
Ensure platforms are reliable and cost-efficient as usage grows.
Document runbooks and processes to empower engineers and AI Agents.
Make task-level decisions and improve EngOps execution through feedback.
