Job summary

Appnovation, AI Product Company, seeks an experienced SRE/observability engineer to build and scale an internal agent platform on AWS Bedrock. You will implement OpenTelemetry instrumentation, connect with CloudWatch and Datadog-like tools, and define SLOs with actionable alerts to improve reliability and cost visibility across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in SRE, platform reliability or observability with strong hands-on AWS experience.
• Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing.
• Experience with CloudWatch and at least one enterprise observability platform.
• Experience defining and running SLOs, error budgets and alerting strategies.
• Experience building cost visibility and FinOps reporting on AWS.
• Scripting in Python, Go or TypeScript and ability to turn data into decisions.

Responsibilities

• Instrument with OpenTelemetry standards for agents and platform services.
• Connect AgentCore Observability with CloudWatch and third-party tools.
• Set up end-to-end tracing across agent steps and multi-agent handoffs.
• Define SLOs for latency, availability and error rates and build useful alerts.
• Monitor token usage and compute spend with dashboards and budgets.
• Write runbooks, support incident response and post-incident reviews.
