Job summary

Trigrand Restoration is seeking a skilled plasterer to apply and finish plaster, prepare surfaces, and cure plaster at our Toronto site. The role includes finishing corners, molding ornamental panels, and applying textures or stucco as required. On-site work is mandatory with safety at heights.

Ideal candidates hold a secondary school diploma and 2–3 years of plastering experience, with proficiency in finishing and detailing on internal and exterior surfaces. This position is on-site only.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in plastering or related work.

Responsibilities

• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces.
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required.
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency.
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim.
• Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
• Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
• Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
