Job summary

Harji Exterior Finishing Ltd. is seeking skilled exterior finishers to join our team. The role focuses on plastering, leveling walls, and applying weatherproof coatings at client sites across BC.

You will work on various locations, handle drywall fitting, insulation, and scaffolding tasks, and contribute to high-quality exterior finishes. Safety and reliability are essential, with relocation to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in plastering/exterior finishing
• Ability to work at heights and on scaffolding
• Willingness to relocate to various locations in BC

Responsibilities

• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
• Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
• Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
• Install exterior and interior steel studs
• Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
• Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
• Estimate costs and materials
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
