Job summary

SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD. is seeking an experienced drywall installer to perform finishing tasks across multiple sites. You will apply compound, sand seams, and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs to create smooth walls.

The role requires 3–5 years of drywall experience, ability to work on-site at heights in a noisy environment, and proficiency in English. Physical stamina and adherence to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 3 years to less than 5 years of drywall experience.
• Ability to work on-site at heights and in noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
• Apply, level and smooth coats of plaster.
• Clean and prepare surfaces.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound.
• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound.
• Cut openings in lath for piping, ducts and outlets.

• Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
• Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets
