Job summary

Saputo Inc. in Saskatoon, Canada, is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to coordinate maintenance tasks across facilities and manage preventative maintenance, emergencies, and team resources.

The role requires determining manpower, prioritizing work with RAM, and creating weekly/daily schedules while coordinating with operations. Eligible candidates should have technical qualifications, advanced Excel, and CMMS experience.

Qualifications

• A Technical qualification or Trade Ticket.
• Excellent with advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in Planning and scheduling in the food industry is considered an asset.
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional is considered an asset.
• Knowledgeable about Lean Six Sigma processes and terminology.
• Experience with safe work practices, such as JHA, confined spaces, job task permitting, etc.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as FIIX, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Determines available manpower in conjunction with maintenance Planner and vacation schedules.
• Determines priority of work using RAM.
• Creates weekly and daily schedules based on Planner's work.
• Determines equipment availability in conjunction with operations scheduling.
• Coordinates with Maintenance team and other stakeholders for scheduling and execution.
• Develops weekly and shutdown schedules as required.
• Balances labor resources and priorities.
• Manages maintenance backlog.
• Coordinates and schedules third-party work and contractors.
• Ensures maintenance activities are tracked and documented.
• Communicates status to management and departments.
• Liaises with other departments to ensure schedule understanding.
• Generates Maintenance reports and KPIs.
• Adheres to safety and food safety rules and regulations.
