Job summary

Agropur Cooperative in Saint-Hyacinthe is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan and coordinate the plant's scheduled maintenance activities, manage on-site contractors, and support the preventive maintenance program.

You will work with maintenance supervisors, electromechanics technicians, and other departments to improve reliability, safety, and cost control, while enhancing the CMMS and applying planning processes. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in a similar role in a unionized environment.
• Experience in food manufacturing is an asset.
• Bilingual French/English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize maintenance work to meet quality, health and safety standards.
• Plan resources to execute scheduled plant maintenance activities.
• Analyze maintenance history and identify root causes using reliability practices.
• Communicate issues and solutions to stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain maintenance performance indicators and docs.
• Participate in failure analyses and improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain planning, scheduling, parts prep, and 5S processes.
• Oversee maintenance procurement and supplier follow-up.
• Coordinate start-ups and work permits; back up the Maintenance Supervisor.
