Job summary

Pattison Ag in Humboldt, SK is seeking a part-time Pilot Truck Driver to support transporting equipment for our dealership. You will assist licensed drivers, secure loads, and help ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Grade 12, a valid 1A license, willingness to travel occasionally, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/equivalent required.
• Ag background/experience, knowledge of towing ag equipment an asset.
• Valid 1A driver’s license; experience driving trucks and heavy equipment an asset.
• Willingness to travel for long periods; some overnight trips may be required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and dealer locations.
• Record time and distance for assigned duties.
• Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report defects.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Our Pilots are committed to delivering exceptional service by assisting our Truck Drivers in the transport of oversized equipment for the dealership, ensuring the load reaches the destination safely. Responsibilities

• Operate Pilot vehicle during transport of equipment to/from customer and/or dealership locations
• Record all time/distance traveled for assigned duties
• Inspect Pilot vehicle before/after use and report any defects
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Build and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with coworkers and customers

Requirements

• Load, secure, transport a wide variety of cargo
• Work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays, be on-call
• Adapt to changing environment
• Knowledge of Electronic Logbook Device an asset
• A minimum of Grade 12/equivalent
• Ag background/experience, knowledge of towing ag equipment an asset
• Valid drivers license
• 1A Drivers License, experience driving trucks, operate heavy/oversized/semi equipment an asset
• Ability to travel for long periods of time; some overnight trips may be required
