Job summary

Chartright Air Group, a leader in Canadian private aviation, seeks a Captain for the Citation X to join a dedicated three-pilot crew in Toronto. You will ensure safety, coordinate with operations teams, and deliver outstanding client service on complex itineraries.

Candidates should have ATPL or IATRA, Jet PIC hours, and extensive experience with CL64-type aircraft, along with strong communication and adaptability to a flexible schedule. International flying experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian ATPL or valid IATRA.
• Experience as a captain with extensive jet PIC hours for CL64 operations.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as Captain on the Citation X in Toronto aboard a three-pilot crew.
• Ensure flight operations are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Support daily operation activities on reserve days.
• Coordinate with Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to meet requirements.
• Foster collaboration and offer ideas for improvements.
• Provide direct client service to create an exceptional experience.
• Participate in monthly training and other duties as required.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as a Captain on the Citation X aircraft in Toronto as part of a dedicated three-pilot crew
• Ensure flights are conducted in a safe manner
• Support daily operation activities on available reserve days
• Liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered
• Foster an environment of collaboration and encourage an atmosphere where co-workers can share ideas, improvements and solutions
• Provide direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience
• Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required

What You Bring:

• Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Valid IATRA
• Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR
• Canadian Radio Telephone License
• Type rating in CL64 series aircraft is an asset
• Minimum of 4000 hours total flight time
• Minimum of 1000 multi-engine PIC hours
• Minimum of 1000 jet PIC hours
• Ability to lift up to 60 Ibs
• International experience
• Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits
• Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance
• Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices
• A positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional client service, organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs
• Previous International flying experience (Europe & South America) is required
• Previous time on type is preferred
