Job summary

Chartright Air Group in Halifax, Canada is seeking an experienced helicopter captain to operate a Bell 429 out of YHZ, ensuring safe flight operations and excellent service.

You will liaise with Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to meet client needs, provide direct client service, and participate in monthly trainings as required.

Candidates must hold an ATPL Helicopter or CPL, TC Medical Cat 1, 2500 hours total, 1000 multi-engine PIC, and be able to lift 60 lbs and work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

  • ATPL Helicopter or CPL license required.
  • TC Medical Category 1 required.
  • 2500 hours total flight time minimum.
  • 1000 multi-engine PIC hours required; turbine time preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the single pilot Captain on a Bell 429 helicopter based out of YHZ, ensuring safe flight operations.
  • Support daily operation activities on reserve days.
  • Liaise with Chartright's Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered.
  • Provide direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience.
  • Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience.

Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required.

What You Bring:

  • Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License - Helicopter or Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
  • Group 4 Instrument Rating.
  • Valid Transport Canada Medical Category 1 .
  • Canadian Radio Telephone License.
  • Minimum of 2500 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 1000 multi-engine PIC hours, turbine time is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 Ibs .
  • Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits.
  • Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning and weight and balance.
  • Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices.
  • A positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build ing relationships across the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional client -focused service with strong organization al and prioritization skills.
