Job summary

Nipigon District Memorial Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Tech - Assistant on a temporary full-time basis to support rural health care services in Nipigon, Ontario. The role requires completion of recognized pharmacy technician or equivalent programs and CNON/RPN qualifications as applicable.

The successful candidate will be proficient in computer applications, demonstrate initiative, and maintain strong attendance and communication with the team, ensuring patient-centered care at the hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Community College Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Graduate of a Registered Health Care Provider Medication Administration Program; or
• Graduate of a Registered Practical Nursing Program/Current RPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Previous pharmacy experience would be considered an asset
• Proficient in computer applications
• High level of initiative and self-direction
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attendance record is imperative

QUALIFICATIONS:
