Job description

Pharmasave #402 is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and technicians in delivering high‑quality patient care
• Greet customers and handle phone inquiries professionally
• Assist with prescription entry, labelling, and packaging under supervision
• Accurately count, measure, and prepare medications
• Receive, stock, and rotate inventory; assist with audits
• Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and safely dispose of expired/hazardous medications
• Perform clerical tasks (filing, faxing, scanning) and assist with insurance claims and transfers
• Support daily operations and other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant program (asset)
• Previous pharmacy experience (asset)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kroll
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes as needed
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays

Schedule

Full‑time: 40 hours/week
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (shifts within these hours)
