Custom Health in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant – Data Entry to join our team focused on accurate prescription entry in the Kroll system and maintaining patient records.

You will support medication management operations, handle data changes, and communicate with pharmacists, healthcare professionals and patients to ensure high-quality service and safety.

Qualifications

• Kroll software experience is required.
• Pharmacy experience is required.
• Adjudication and billing knowledge for ODB and third-party drug plans.
• Knowledge of Standards of Practice in Ontario pharmacy.
• Retail experience is an asset.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build loyalty.
• Effective communication skills and multitasking ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the Kroll data entry team; enter prescriptions accurately.
• Assist with data/medication changes and billing communication with team members and patients.
• Follow up on faxes, emails, and voicemails promptly; complete related tasks.
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Fax refill requests to prescribers; order medications as needed by supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Reporting to the Data Entry Team Lead/Supervisor, the Pharmacy Assistant – Data Entry plays a vital role in the quality and safety of our medications. This position is responsible for entering prescriptions into the Kroll system, and maintenance of patient records.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a key member of the Kroll data entry team, working within the scope of a Pharmacy Assistant to perform data entry and fill prescription and OTC products accurately
• Assist with data/medication changes, including filling in Kroll, adjudication (billing), and any necessary communication with team members health care professionals and patients
• Follow up on faxes, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner and complete related tasks
• Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
• Fax refill requests to prescribers proactively, ordering medications, and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
• Provide an excellent level of customer service to all clients
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience with Kroll software is required
• Previous Pharmacy Experience required
• Adjudication and Billing Knowledge for ODB and third-part drug plans (knowledge of the ODB Formulary).
• Knowledge on Standards of Practice in Ontario pharmacy practice.
• Retail Experience an Asset
