Job summary

CareRx is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant, L2, to support a network of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities from our Calgary site. You will assist with preparation, packaging and organization of medication deliveries while maintaining Pharmacy Standards of Practice.

Experience with Kroll and eMAR systems plus strong customer service skills are essential. This on-site role offers a predictable schedule and opportunities for growth within a well-established Canadian company.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems (Point Click Care, Catalyst, Med E Care).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter new prescriptions and client information in Kroll Pharmacy software.
• Process refill prescriptions in Kroll Pharmacy software.
• Respond to phone inquiries from nurses with strong customer service.
• Conduct third-party adjudications for prescription billing.
• Ensure adherence to order cut-off times for timely task completion.
• Deliver prescription labels to production ahead of delivery times.
• Seek guidance from registered professionals for complex situations.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards of information handling.
• Perform other duties within the Pharmacy Assistant scope as needed.

CareRx is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant L2 with Kroll pharmacy software experience to join our Pharmacy team in supporting a group of LTC Homes and Retirement Communities. What You Will Bring to The Team

• Competency with Microsoft Office software
• Demonstrated ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines

Compensation Range

Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience.

Location

This is on-site role at our Calgary Pharmacy at 10748 74 St. SE, and follows a five-day workweek with participation in on-call rotation for weekends.
