Job summary

No Frills in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to accurately dispense prescription medications and support patients. You will greet patients, enter data, handle third-party adjudication when needed, and assist with inventory and OTC inquiries.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and customer service skills in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is helpful in this unionized setting; flexibility for varied shifts including evenings

Qualifications

Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
Strong communication skills.
Demonstrated customer service experience.
Proficient computer/data entry skills.
Flexibility to work a variety of hours which may include days, evenings, night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

Greeting patients and confirming accuracy of prescription information before filling.
Data entry of patient care information.
Third party adjudication (if necessary).
Accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
Assist with general OTC inquiries and refer to Pharmacist as needed.
Handle customer prescription pick up.
