Sobeys Pharmacy in Saint John, NB is seeking a friendly and detail‑oriented Pharmacy Assistant for a 6‑month term, 32 hours per week. You will support the pharmacy team with prescription assembly, data entry, and customer service to ensure accurate, patient‑centered care.

Ideal candidates have a Pharmacy Assistant Diploma (or equivalent), prior pharmacy exposure, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while upholding company standards and supporting operational tasks as needed.

Formación

• Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prescription assembly – data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
