Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy assistants to join our pharmacy team dedicated to patient-centered care. You’ll help with prescription assembly, data entry, and patient interactions while supporting our pharmacists and colleagues across our Canadian banners.

In this role you will handle in-person and phone refill requests, compounding, pill packs, stock management, and routine administrative duties while upholding our standards of service and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.).
