Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prescriptions and enter data accurately.
• Process customer transactions for prescriptions.
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs to patients.
• Perform compounding as required.
• Assemble Pill Packs and manage stock.
• File prescriptions, order and replenish supplies, clean work areas.
• Create and receive drug orders.
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g., medication reviews).
• BTC management and related tasks.
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, returns to stock, and documentation.
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required.
