Job summary

Sobeys Inc. is seeking energetic Pharmacy Assistants to join our national pharmacy team across Canada. You will contribute to patient-centered care by supporting prescription processing, data entry, dispensing, and in-store operations.

The role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to adhering to company standards. Prior pharmacy experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy assistant diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adhere to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry.
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions).
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries.
• Promote Profile programs.
• Compounding.
• Pill Pack Assembly.
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning.
• Schedule clinical services (medication reviews, risk assessments, disease state management).
• Administrative duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, returns to stocks, and third party management.
