Sobeys Winnipeg is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our community pharmacy team. You will handle prescription data entry, process transactions, and manage refill requests while maintaining patient-focused care.

Key duties include compounding, pill pack assembly, filing, inventory replenishment, and supporting clinical services such as medication reviews. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adhere to company standards and operate independently.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (e.g. medication reviews, health risk assessments)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
