Job summary

Pattison Food Group Ltd. invites applications for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Vernon, BC location, opening soon. You'll process prescriptions, enter patient data, manage stock, and support the pharmacist in giving patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and "let’s get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Compensation Details

• $19.00 - $23.00
• The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
