Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant for our Harbour Pharmacy in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. You will support pharmacists, assist with prescriptions, manage stock, and help with daily operations in a friendly, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business is preferred.
• Skilled in using Kroll and highly accurate and efficient in prescription data entry.
• Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsabilités

• Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols
• Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Schedule

• 40 hours per week (Full‑time).
• The regular schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• 8‑hour shift
• Monday to Friday
