Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Nanaimo, BC, is hiring for a part-time Pharmacist to manage day-to-day operations, dispense medications, maximize clinical opportunities, and administer vaccinations, while providing patient-centered care within our community-focused team.

You will maintain inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, stay current with new medications and clinical opportunities, offer private consultations, and deliver clinical services including medication management and health screening.

Qualifications

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Responsibilities

Compensation Details:

$57.00 - $60.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
