Save-On-Foods Pharmacy in Kamloops, BC, is seeking a Pharmacist to lead day-to-day operations, dispense medications, and administer vaccines as part of a patient-centred care team.

You will provide clinical services including medication management and health screening, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with regulations while remaining current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Licensed Canadian pharmacist in good standing is required.
• Injection certification is required.
• Experience with OAT and completed mandatory training is preferred.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably Kroll.

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our Sahali location in Kamloops, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$63.00 - $66.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
