Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Western Canada is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support stores across British Columbia. The role involves dispensing, vaccinations, inventory management, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering patient-centred care.

You will travel regionally for 1–2 weeks at a time and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. A Canadian Pharmacist licence with injection certification is required, and experience with OAT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian Pharmacist licence and be in good standing.
• Injection certification is required.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• Ability to travel frequently through-out the region for 1–2 weeks at a time.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Staying current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
• The ability to travel frequently through-out the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Compensation Details:

$48.00 - $78.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
