Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Western Canada is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support stores in the Lower Mainland. You will manage day-to-day operations, maximize clinical opportunities, and administer vaccinations while maintaining patient-centred care.

You must hold a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing, have injection certification, experience with OAT, and be willing to travel regionally for 1–2 weeks. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Canadian Pharmacist licence and in good standing with the respective College.
• Injection certification.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and required trainings.
• Ability to travel regionally for 1–2 weeks at a time.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintain inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remain current on trends in the pharmacy industry and new medications.
• Offer private consultations to patients and maintain patient-centred care.
• Provide clinical services including medication management and health screening.

We are hiring for a Relief Pharmacist to support our stores in the Lower Mainland.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
• The ability to travel frequently through-out the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Compensation Details:

$48.00 - $60.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
