Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy, Canada's largest community pharmacy network, is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to join Medical Pharmacy in Toronto, Ontario. Shifts are Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Compensation is starting point and will be determined based on experience. The successful candidate will deliver clinical services, including medication reviews, vaccination administration, and care plan development, while ensuring regulatory compliance and collaborating with healthcare

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with theOntario College of Pharmacist
• Injection certification is required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
