Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacist to join Rx Drug Mart in Stayner, Ontario. Compensation is a starting point and will be based on experience.

You will deliver clinical services including medication reviews, vaccinations, and disease management, while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient education. The role emphasizes collaboration with healthcare teams, supervision of students, and daily pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development.
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
• Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
• Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in performing restricted activities
• Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
