Job summary

Pet Valu in Geraldton, Ontario is seeking a Store Manager to lead a team of Pet Experts and deliver world class service to local pet parents.

You will coach staff, recruit, schedule, train, and ensure store standards while managing operations, inventory, and community partnerships with shelters and rescues.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of retail management and a passion for pets; strong customer service, POS experience, and the ability to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years customer service and retail store management experience.
• Experience using POS systems is important.
• Ability to work as scheduled including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to meet customer service standards and community relations (e.g. Humane society).
• Recruit, schedule, train, and coach staff on day-to-day tasks.
• Ensure operational standards and store procedures are followed.
