Job summary

Pet Valu Grande Prairie is seeking a Store Keyholder to ensure consistent store execution, assist customers, open/close the shop, and help drive sales while upholding our values of safety, compassion, expertise and efficiency.

You bring at least 2 years of retail or customer service experience, a friendly demeanor, ability to lift 50 lbs, and flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. A valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
• Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the store.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other paperwork.
• Stock items (pet supplies, household items) into sales area.
• Store maintenance (sweeping, dusting, etc.).
• Unload deliveries up to 50 lbs and stock items.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
• Assign daily goals and tasks when managers are away.
• Other duties as required.
