Job summary

Pet Valu in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a Keyholder to support daily store operations and enhance the customer shopping experience. You will handle cashiering, assist with stock, prepare merchandise orders, and help maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Working knowledge of a POS system.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other miscellaneous paperwork
• Placing small items (under 10 lbs) into stock in the sales area of the store
• Sweeping, dusting and other general store maintenance functions
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and stocking items up to 50 lbs
• Open and close the store following procedures
• Assign daily goals and tasks to ACEs when Store Manager is unavailable
• Other duties and tasks as required
