Job summary

Pet Valu Canada Inc. is seeking a reliable Keyholder in Ottawa to support store operations and customer service. You will handle cashiering, assist with stock, banking and routine paperwork while ensuring a clean and welcoming shopping environment for pets and their owners.

This role requires at least 2 years in retail or customer service, a friendly demeanor, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
Working knowledge of POS system.
Outgoing and friendly personality with strong customer service skills.
Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Reliable means of transportation to the store.
Driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

Cashier and customer sales.
Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other paperwork.
Stock items up to 50 lbs in the sales area.
Store maintenance: sweeping, dusting, etc.
Open and close the store following procedures.
Help ACEs with daily goals when managers are absent.
Other duties as required.
