Job summary

SE Health is hiring part-time Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in Windsor and surrounding areas. We offer mileage and travel time coverage, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Eligible PSW graduates can access ROS funding and the HFO program with a 12-month commitment. Applicants must hold a PSW certificate or equivalent, or be RN/RPN, nursing student with two clinical placements, Developmental Support Worker Diploma, or be a foreign-trained nurse.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work day and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
