Job summary

SE Health is hiring Part Time Day Personal Support Workers for Community Care in Jarvis and surrounding areas of Simcoe. You will provide in-home and community care, working days or evenings with every other weekend; travel between clients is required and mileage is covered.

The role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a not-for-profit social enterprise that values empathy, dignity and teamwork.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements - MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
