Job summary

SE Health in Canada is hiring Part Time Day and/or Evening Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care and surrounding areas. You will drive to client locations, with mileage and travel time reimbursement and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate required.
• RN or RPN licence is considered.
• Nursing student with two clinical placements completed.
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma required.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional must be a Nurse.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse.

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid.
• Availability to workdays OR eveningsand every other weekend.
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.
