Job summary

SE Health is hiring Full Time Personal Support Workers for Community Care in Hamilton and surrounding areas. Overnight shifts 11pm–7am, mileage and travel time covered, and a comprehensive benefits package with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have valid PSW certification or diploma.
• RN or RPN licensure is required or nursing student with clinical placements.
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma accepted.
• Foreign trained nurses considered with local registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support care to clients in community/home settings.
• Attend to clients’ daily living activities and mobility needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)


• RN or RPN


• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)


• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma


• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required


• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, and Tetanus


• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)


• Current Standard CPR level C certificate


• Availability to work 11:00pm-7:00am every other Saturday and Sunday


• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
