Job summary

Saint Elizabeth is hiring part-time evenings Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to deliver community care in the Roseneath area. The role supports clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and mobility in a home setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW).
• RN or RPN.
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed).
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support services in community settings on evening shifts and weekends.
• Follow care plans and document care activities as required.
• Transport clients as needed and ensure safety during home visits.

Education

Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)

RN or RPN

Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)

Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workeveningsand every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
