Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for Community Care in North York. Roles include full-time or part-time positions across days, evenings, and nights with travel between clients and mileage covered.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and vehicle to use for work daily is required (from Requirements).

Responsibilities

• Availability to work days, evenings, nights and every other weekend.
• This is a physically demanding position with lifting up to 55 pounds and other strenuous activities.
• Flexibility to meet client needs across shifts.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days, evenings, nights and every other weekend.
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
