Job summary

SE Health in Barrie is hiring Part-time Days and Evenings Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care. You will support clients with personal care, mobility and daily activities across our community locations.

We offer mileage and travel time coverage, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow within a national social enterprise focused on health and aging. A driver's license and vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate or equivalent required.
• RN or RPN registration or candidacy may be considered.
• Nursing student in clinical placement will be considered.

• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse welcome.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)


• RN or RPN


• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)


• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma


• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required


• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus


• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)


• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid


• Availability to work FT evenings and every other weekend


• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
